Reed Timmer is an American meteorologist and storm chaser best known for his work on the Discovery Channel's series, "Storm Chasers." Timmer grew up with a fascination for the weather and natural disasters. He pursued a career in meteorology and earned a Ph.D. in atmospheric science from the University of Oklahoma.
