Red Hot Chili Peppers is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1983. The band members include Anthony Kiedis (lead vocals), Flea (bass), Chad Smith (drums), and John Frusciante (guitar). Over the years, the band has undergone several lineup changes. Still, their unique sound that blends rock, funk, and punk influences has remained a constant.
Their debut album, "The Red Hot Chili Peppers," was released in 1984. Still, it wasn't until their 1991 album "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" that they achieved mainstream success. The album featured hits like "Give It Away" and "Under the Bridge" and earned the band their first Grammy Award.
