RedSeal's chairman and CEO is Ray Rothrock. He was previously a general partner at Venrock, a founding investor in RedSeal. He invested in 53 startups during his time at Venrock, including over a dozen in cyber security, including Vontu, PGP, P-Cube, Imperva, Cloudflare, CTERA, and Shape Security.
Rothrock serves on the boards of Check Point Software Technology, Ltd., a Venrock investment, and Team8, both of which are located in Tel Aviv, as well as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Corp. He was a participant in the White House CyberSecurity Summit hosted at Stanford University.
