Ray Park is a Scottish actor and martial artist, best known for his role as Darth Maul in "Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace" (1999). Park began training in martial arts at a young age, eventually becoming a champion in various disciplines, including wushu and kickboxing.
He was discovered by a talent agency while performing martial arts at a demonstration. He was subsequently cast as Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode I, gaining worldwide recognition. Park has also appeared in other notable films such as "X-Men" (2000) as the character Toad and "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" (2009) as the character Snake Eyes.
