Ray Azcuy Biography

Ray Azcuy is a visual artist and educator known for his extensive portfolio and exhibitions. He was a former South Florida Cultural Consortium winner in 2001. He has a BA and MA from the University of South Florida in Tampa. Azcuy has worked as a K-12 Art Education teacher at Miami-Dade County Public Schools and has been an adjunct professor with the fine arts department of Barry University. He was also a visual arts supervisor for K-12 art education at Pinellas County School System in Largo, Florida. Azcuy's solo exhibitions include those at the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida, and the Visual Arts Coalition in Jacksonville, Florida. His work has been exhibited in many locations statewide. Additionally, he has received Summer Fellowships from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, and other awards.
