Ramin Farhangi initially pursued a career in consulting, working for the Boston Consulting Group for three years. However, he soon realized that his true passion was education. From a young age, he admired his fourth-grade teacher. He dreamed of becoming a teacher who would inspire his students and help them grow into independent and happy adults.
He started by taking a regular math teaching job, hoping to positively impact his students' lives. However, after a few years, he began to see that the actual design of schools was a significant issue. He was inspired by Ken Robinson's work. He concluded that only a small minority of children can thrive in traditional academic environments.
