Ramesh Raskar is an Indian-American computer scientist, inventor, and entrepreneur best known for his contributions to computational photography. He is an Associate Professor at the MIT Media Lab who heads the Camera Culture research group. Raskar completed his undergraduate studies in electronics engineering in India before earning a Ph.D.

in computer science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has also worked as a researcher at Mitsubishi Electric Research Labs. He was a visiting professor at Dartmouth College before joining the MIT Media Lab faculty in 2008. Raskar has made significant contributions to the development of computational photography.
