Ram Shriram is an Indian-American entrepreneur and investor. He was born in Chennai, India, and later moved to the United States to pursue his studies. Shriram graduated from the University of Madras with a degree in Mathematics. He later earned his MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
Shriram began his career at Netscape Communications Corporation in 1994, serving as a founding board member and being instrumental in developing the company. He later became a general partner at Sherpalo Ventures, a venture capital firm he founded in 2000.
