Ralph W. Moss is an author, journalist, and cancer researcher who dedicated his career to investigating alternative and complementary cancer therapies. He earned his bachelor's degree from New York University and his Ph.D. in Classics from Stanford University. Moss began his career in cancer research as a science writer at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where he worked for 10 years.
In 1980, he was promoted to Assistant Director of Public Affairs. Still, he was fired after he raised concerns about the center's unproven cancer treatments. He then founded the Cancer Chronicles, a newsletter dedicated to investigating and reporting on alternative cancer treatments.
