Ralph Muehleisen is the Argonne National Laboratory's senior scientist and group leader. He leads research projects focused on building energy efficiency and sustainability. He has been involved in several projects on building energy efficiency, including developing advanced sensors and control systems for commercial buildings and creating simulation tools to help design more efficient building envelopes.
He is also a Fellow of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). He has served as a technical program chair for ASHRAE conferences. Dr. Muehleisen is also a University of Chicago lecturer, teaching energy systems and sustainability courses. He has published numerous papers on topics related to building energy efficiency.
