Raj Panjabi is a Liberian-American physician and social entrepreneur who is the CEO and co-founder of Last Mile Health. This non-profit organization brings healthcare to the most remote communities in Africa. Born in Liberia, Panjabi fled the country with his family at 9 due to the First Liberian Civil War.
He later attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and a Doctor of Medicine. Panjabi’s passion for global health led him to work in several African countries, including Lesotho, where he worked as a clinician and epidemiologist during the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
