Rain Valdez is a Filipina-American actress, writer, producer, and director. She was born and raised in the Philippines before immigrating to the United States when she was eight. She pursued acting in Los Angeles, where she landed her breakthrough role as Coco in the web series "Razor Tongue" in 2016.
Since then, she has starred in several television shows and films, including "Lopez" and "Transparent." In addition to acting, Valdez is a prominent activist for transgender rights and representation in media. She is the founder and executive director of ActNow: New Voices in Queer Cinema.
