Raffael Johnen is a German entrepreneur and co-founder, and CEO of auxmoney. This online peer-to-peer lending platform connects private investors with individuals seeking personal loans. He founded the company in 2007 with Philip Kamp and Philip Kriependorf, which has since become one of Europe's largest peer-to-peer lending platforms.
Before founding auxmoney, Johnen was Vice President at Rothschild Investment Banking in Frankfurt, responsible for mergers and acquisitions and debt advisory. He also co-founded Excellion Capital, a London corporate finance and investment firm. Johnen's vision for auxmoney was to create a platform that eliminates the high cost and complexity of traditional bank lending while also providing investors with attractive returns.
