Rachel Grady is an American filmmaker and director best known for her documentary films that explore complex social and political issues. She co-founded Loki Films in 2001 with fellow filmmaker Heidi Ewing. Together, they have directed and produced numerous award-winning documentaries. Grady's films often tackle controversial and sensitive topics, including religious fundamentalism, abortion, and poverty.

Her 2006 film "Jesus Camp" followed several children attending an evangelical Christian summer camp and was widely praised for its balanced portrayal of the subject matter. Other notable works include "Detropia" (2012), which examined the economic decline of Detroit, and "One of Us" (2017), which explored the struggles of individuals leaving the Hasidic Jewish community.
