Rabbi Michael Lerner is the editor of Tikkun magazine, which was named Best Magazine of the Year by the Religion Newswriters Association in 2014 and 2015. He is also the interfaith chair and rabbi of Berkeley's Beyt Tikkun Synagogue-Without-Walls.
Lerner is the author of 11 books, including Jewish Renewal: A Theological Introduction to Judaism and The Left Hand of God: Taking Back Our Country from the Religious Right, which was both national best-sellers. He co-wrote the book Jews and Blacks: Let the Healing Begin with Cornel West.
