Quinn Nystrom is an advocate for affordable insulin and diabetes awareness. She was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 13 and began advocating for diabetes-related issues as a teenager. In 2009, she was selected as the National Youth Advocate of the Year by the American Diabetes Association.
Since then, Nystrom has continued her advocacy work, focusing on making insulin more affordable for people with diabetes. She has spoken at numerous conferences and events, including a 2020 Congressional hearing on the high cost of insulin.
