Pierre-Yves Gerbeau is a highly accomplished French engineer and businessman. He began his career in the United Kingdom as a nuclear physicist and later earned a Ph.D. in fluid mechanics from Imperial College London. Gerbeau quickly developed a reputation as a forward-thinking engineer, and his expertise led him to be appointed Director of the Science Museum in London in 1996.
After several years leading the Science Museum, Gerbeau became the Millennium Dome's Chief Executive in London. During his time there, he transformed the Dome into a highly successful attraction, attracting over 6 million visitors during its first year of operation. Gerbeau's innovative leadership helped to put the Millennium Dome on the map as a major entertainment destination.
