Dr. Pooja Lakshmin, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist, bestselling author, and leading expert in women’s mental health. She serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at George Washington University School of Medicine and maintains an independent practice focused on burnout, anxiety, depression, and maternal mental health. A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Jefferson Medical College, she completed residency training at Stanford and George Washington University, with emphasis on global mental health and perinatal psychiatry.
