Piff the Magic Dragon is the stage name of John van der Put, a British comedian and magician known for appearing on America's Got Talent. Born in London, England, in 1980, van der Put grew up in a family of entertainers, including his father, a professional clown.
He began performing magic at 6, and by the time he was in his 20s, he had already won several awards for his performances. Van der Put adopted the stage name Piff the Magic Dragon after he and his chihuahua, Mr. Piffles, began performing together in 2009.
