Philips Lumileds has inked a distribution partnership with Delhi-based LED component distributor KORE, a division of Ramakrishna Electro Components Pvt Ltd, to enhance product availability and customer base in India. According to Pierre-Yves Lesaicherre, CEO of Philips Lumileds, "KORE workers will have full access to the products, services, and people of Philips Lumileds" as a result of this collaboration.
Philips Lumileds will provide technical support to KORE in addition to the application-specific LEDs. "Our worldwide team of LED technical professionals who support firms in the creation of world-class lighting applications, as well as a dynamic online resource presenting chosen partner solutions," adds Jacob Trost, Philips Lumileds' distribution manager for the Asia Pacific.
