Peter Slevin is a journalist, author, and associate professor of journalism at Northwestern University. He is a former national correspondent for The Washington Post, covering Barack Obama's campaign and presidency and the 2008 and 2012 presidential campaigns. Slevin has also served as a Chicago Tribune and the Miami Herald correspondent.
He is the author of "Michelle Obama: A Life," a biography of the former first lady that explores her early years, career, and time in the White House. The book was a New York Times bestseller and was praised for its in-depth reporting and insights into Michelle Obama's life and character.
