Peter Segal is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter known for directing comedies such as "Get Smart," "Tommy Boy," and "Anger Management." Segal attended the University of Southern California, earning a Broadcast Journalism degree.
After graduation, he worked in the television industry as a writer and producer for shows such as "Saved by the Bell" and "Ned and Stacey." In the late 1990s, Segal transitioned to film directing and gained success with his first feature film, "Tommy Boy," starring Chris Farley and David Spade.
