Reckell also had recurring roles on the primetime series "Knots Landing" and "Venice: The Series." In addition to his work in television, Reckell has appeared in numerous stage productions, including "The Fantasticks," "The Full Monty," and "Romeo and Juliet." He is also a musician and has released several albums of original music. Outside of his entertainment career, Reckell is a passionate advocate for environmental causes and is involved with organizations such as Heal the Bay and the Surfrider Foundation. He lives in California with his wife, singer-songwriter Kelly Moneymaker, and their daughter.
