Dr. Peter Meyer is a well-known expert in community and local economic development, public policy evaluation, and environmental finance. He currently serves as the President and Chief Economist of EP Systems Group, where he works to design financing schemes for energy efficiency and conservation programs primarily for public sector clients.
He also evaluates transportation investment proposals for their economic impacts, focusing on their distributive effects across residents with respect to their location and income levels. Dr. Meyer is a Professor Emeritus of Urban Policy and Economics at the University of Louisville. He founded and directed a Center for Environmental Policy and Management and the EPA Region 4 Environmental Finance Center.
