Peter Lord is a British animator, director, and producer best known for co-founding Aardman Animations, a world-renowned animation studio based in Bristol, UK. He has worked on several award-winning animation projects, including the popular Wallace and Gromit series, Chicken Run, and Shaun the Sheep.
Peter's innovative and creative approach to animation has earned him numerous accolades, including four Academy Award nominations and a BAFTA Award. Peter began his career in the animation industry in the 1970s, working as a camera operator for Cosgrove Hall Films. In 1985, he co-founded Aardman Animations with David Sproxton, which quickly gained a reputation for producing high-quality stop-motion animations.
