Peter Gros brings a wealth of experience and expertise in captive wildlife, spanning almost three decades. During his tenure as Director of Land Animals and vice president at Marine World/Africa USA, he played a pivotal role in establishing breeding programs for 377 endangered animals, contributing to their preservation and conservation efforts.
Additionally, Gros developed a rehabilitation program for birds of prey and successfully managed the largest captive breeding colony of ostriches in the United States. Gros is deeply committed to animal welfare and education. He holds an Exhibition & Animal Educator license from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (U.S.D.A.).
