Peter Greer is a Christian poverty advocate, author, and president of HOPE International (HOPE), a global faith-based microfinance organization located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania that serves businesses in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and Eastern Europe. Greer and his wife, Laurel, live in Landisville, Pennsylvania, with their two sons and a daughter.
Greer grew up in Carlisle, Massachusetts, where she attended Concord-Carlisle High School and graduated (in 1993). He holds a bachelor's degree from Messiah College and a master's degree from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government (M.P.P., 2004).
