While other roboticists have explored stabilizing a robot on a ball, Fankhauser and his team aim to take it further by making it dance. Incorporating dynamic movements into the design was one of their primary objectives. Collaborating with researchers like Michael Neunert and Thomas Kammermann, the team has successfully developed Rezero. This prototype ballbot demonstrates impressive capabilities.
