In September 1998, Peter Bowler was named President of American Eagle Airlines. In 2006, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer. Bowler joined American in 1984 and has worked in sales, marketing, human resources, and information technology, among other areas.
At Eagle, Bowler supervised the merger of three separate airlines to become one of the world's largest regional airlines, with more than 300 small aircraft flying over 1,800 daily departures across the United States, the Caribbean, Canada, and Mexico.
