Pearl Arredondo is a passionate educator and advocates for educational equity who has impacted her community and beyond. Growing up in Boyle Heights, a disadvantaged neighborhood in East Los Angeles, Arredondo experienced firsthand the challenges students face in public schools.
Determined to break the cycle of limited opportunities, she pursued higher education and became the first in her family to graduate from college. With a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Education and Instructional Leadership from Pepperdine University, Arredondo began her teaching career at San Fernando Middle School (SFMS), the same school she attended.
