Paul Oakenfold is an English record producer and trance DJ who was born on August 30, 1963. He released the final song from his last studio album, Not Over, in 2008. This was a new version of Not Over Yet, which he made in partnership with Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic while working as Grace with Osborne. Klaxons covered the song It's Not Over Yet. In 2008, Oakenfold composed soundtracks for Californication, The Heavy, Fever, The Bourne Identity, and Speed Racer, among other films and television shows. Oakenfold's international tour to promote his greatest hits CD finished in mid-July. He also toured with Madonna in London, Santiago, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, and Sao Paulo as part of her Sticky & Sweet Tour. He began his residency in Las Vegas on August 30th, after his tour, where he aims to record a new album called Decade of Dance and create the soundtrack for the film Humboldt Park. He began his first Resident DJ role in the United States in the fall of 2008. Paul's third studio album, Pop Killer, was announced in 2009, rather than Decade of Dance, as the story in The Sun said. He also worked on Madonna's third greatest hits compilation, Celebration, as well as her final Warner Bros. Records CD. The first song, also titled Celebration and produced by Oakenfold, was released on August 3, 2009. He also remixed a previous demo, It's So Cool from American Life, which is available on iTunes as a bonus track. Oakenfold headlined a massive one-off event for club brand Goodgreef at the legendary Tall Trees venue in the UK in February 2012. Later that year, he played at the Google I/O June 2012 After Party at Moscone Center in San Francisco with the Californian band Train.
