Paul is a professorial research fellow at Queen Mary University of London; a visiting fellow in business history in the School of Management at York University (UK) and an honorary fellow of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development at Lancaster University School of Management. He has also held teaching positions at Santa Clara University Copenhagen Business School and Ecole Polytechnique. 1989 to 2001 he was a consultant at the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center. His commitment to multidisciplinary work has led him to collaborate with social and computer scientists economists linguists management theorists and social psychologists. Paul has authored The Social Life of Information with John Seely Brown (Harvard Business School Press 2000).
