Paul Duan is the President of Bayes Impact, and is an award-winning data scientist recognized by the Wall Street Journal and the Economist. By the age of 19, Paul had graduated from Sciences Po in his native France, studied at UC Berkeley by their invitation, and joined event ticketing startup Eventbrite as their first Data Scientist.
After helping to build Eventbrite into a $1 billion company, Paul cofounded Bayes Impact to explore data science solutions to critical social problems. Within a month of founding, Y-Combinator asked Paul and his team to participate in their world-renowned accelerator program. Bayes Impact continues to focus on bringing data scientists together to tackle problems in healthcare, education, and economic empowerment.
