Paul R. Charron is a speaker and Senior Advisor at Warburg Pincus, a New York-based private equity firm, as well as the Campbell Soup Company's non-executive Chairman of the Board. He was previously the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Liz Claiborne Inc., a worldwide fashion and retail firm.
In May of 1994, Paul Charron joined Liz Claiborne as vice chairman and chief operating officer. He was named president and chief executive officer a year later, and chairman in May 1996. In November 2006, he stepped down as CEO, and on December 31, 2006, he stepped down as Chairman of the Board.
