Paul is a retired Medical Doctor. He was Chief of Breast Imaging at Denver Health from 1988-1995. He retired disabled suffering with Bi-Polar Type 2 depression. Between 1995-2007 he immersed himself in mental health advocacy. He testified in front of select communities before the CO State Legislature to help change the law to have mental health covered by insurance.
At the time no mental health diagnosis were covered by health insurance. In 2007 he became an educator lecturer scientist and community connector in the medical cannabis industry. Dr. Bregman is unique because of his is personal experience with mental illness and his professional expertise in the medical cannabis industry. He is also a legal medical cannabis patient.
