Patricia B. Crawford is co-founder and director of the Dr. Robert C. and Veronica Atkins Center for Weight and Health. In addition she is also a cooperative extension nutrition specialist and an adjunct professor in the Department of Nutritional Sciences & Toxicology at the School of Public Health at the University of California Berkeley.
She has led a number of studies examining disparities in the field of obesity including the 5-State FitWIC Childhood Obesity Prevention Initiative and Berkeleys follow-up of the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute Growth & Health Study.
