Pat Gelsinger is president and chief operating officer of EMC Information Infrastructure Products. Mr Gelsinger is responsible for EMC's Information Infrastructure product portfolio including its Information Storage RSA Information Security Information Intelligence Group and Ionix IT management divisions.
Before joining EMC Mr Gelsinger was senior vice-president and co-general manager of Intel's Digital Enterprise Group the company's largest business group accounting for more than half of Intel's annual revenue. Under Gelsinger's leadership that group was responsible for Intel's enterprise products including clients (PC's) Server (Xeon and Itanium) Embedded Communications Visualization and Storage products.
