The 6'10" man Tom Chambers was an important part of the Phoenix Suns' championship squads in the late 1980s and early 1990s. 'Tommy Gun' would execute a pick-and-roll move with all-star point guard Kevin Johnson that would frequently account for a third of the team's points. Chambers spent five seasons with the Suns, scoring his most points in 1989-90.
(27.2 a contest). Chambers began his NBA career with the San Diego Clippers in 1981-82 and played 14 complete seasons with them. From 1983-84 through 1988-89, he was a member of the Seattle SuperSonics and was selected MVP of the 1987 NBA All-Star Game, which was held in the Kingdome.
