Paolo Giovanni Nutini, a Scottish singer, songwriter, and musician from Paisley, was born on January 9, 1987. Although his father is of Italian origin from Barga, Tuscany, and his family has lived in Scotland for three generations, both of his parents are Scottish.
These Streets, Paolo Nutini's first album, was released in the United Kingdom by Atlantic Records in July 2006 and featured the songs Last Request, Jenny Don't Be Hasty, Rewind, and New Shoes, the latter of which was the most successful, reaching number five on the UK Singles Chart.
