At the Rhode Island School of Design, Paolo Cardini is an Associate Professor of Industrial Design. His last position was at Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar, where he was a graduate student in the interdisciplinary design program. His portfolio includes everything from product design to interface design, as well as an integrated communication and strategic planning. He studied Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano and Glasgow School of Art, and he currently serves as the department chair for the bachelor's and master's programs in Industrial Design at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Turin.
