Pablo Mastroeni is the current head coach of the Colorado Rapids and a former American soccer player. Mastroeni and his family immigrated to the United States from Argentina when he was four years old, living in Phoenix, Arizona. He played youth soccer for the Santos Futbol Clube and attended Thunderbird High School.
Mastroeni was a member of the men's soccer squad at North Carolina State University from 1994 to 1997. He spent his collegiate off-seasons with the Tucson Amigos of the USISL from 1995 to 1997.
