Our Lady J is a Transparent writer. She debuted as a singer/songwriter in 2013 with the critically acclaimed studio album Picture Of A Man. She's worked with Sia, Lady Gaga, the Scissor Sisters, and Broadway artists including Chita Rivera, Christine Ebersole, and Justin Vivian Bond as a pianist.
Our Lady J is the first openly trans woman to play in Carnegie Hall, and she has been named to Out Magazine's "Out 100" and the Huffington Post's "transgender idols" list.
