Oscar Sevilla, often known as El Nio, is a professional road cyclist from Spain. He is a seasoned stage race climber who has placed in the top 10 of the Tour de France and Vuelta an Espana on many occasions.
He began his professional career in 1998 with the Spanish team Kelme-Costa Blanca, and his big break came in the 2001 Tour de France. He showed himself to be a terrific climber here, finishing 7th overall in the General classification and winning the maillot blanc as the best rider under the age of 25.
