OneRepublic is a self-described genre-defying American band from Colorado Springs, Colorado. The band, which was founded in 2002 by Ryan Tedder and Zach Filkins, found popularity on MySpace and built a large fan base. In 2006, they signed with Mosley Music Group. The RIAA certified OneRepublic's debut album "Dreaming Out Loud" as gold in the United States on November 20, 2007. Early in 2008, the album was released in Australia, New Zealand, and much of the rest of the world. The official remix of Timbaland's track Apologize, which became a #1 hit in over 30 countries and was certified 5x platinum, is included on the album. Stop and Stare, the album's second song has been in the Top 10 in numerous countries. Say (All I Need), the band's third single was released in June 2008, while Mercy, the band's fourth single, was released in September 2008. In 2009, they released their second studio album, "Waking Up." The first song, All the Right Moves, and the second single, Secrets, both hit the Top 10 in numerous countries. Marchin On, the third single, was released in June 2010 and features Timbaland. In Germany, it became a Top 10 success. Native, OneRepublic's third album, was released in 2013. Counting Stars, the album's third single, went on to become the band's biggest hit, topping charts all over the world.
