Building offices for Airbnb across Europe was Ole Ruch’s job before he was appointed in mid 2012 as the Managing Director for Airbnb in Asia-Pacific and Northern Europe. And before then, he was based in Russia and East-Asia where he developed international markets as part of the Executive Management team for Groupon, Ole utilized his expertise in the industry to grow the business in new markets. The world of digital business has always been Ole’s passion. Succeeding in the challenging environment it offers and the excitement of building great companies, inspired Ole to create a number of start-up companies himself and has also assisted to expand global digital brands during his career tenure. Ole studied Law at the University of Oslo and Entrepreneurship at Boston University and his education gave him the essential skills to succeed in his endeavors. Ole holds a Masters in Management from Imperial College Business School in London.
