The six-piece indie Folk-Rock ensemble Of Monsters And Men came together in Reykjavík ICELAND in 2010 comprised of vocalist + acoustic guitarist Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir singer + guitarist Ragnar 'Raggi' Þórhallsson guitarist Brynjar Leifsson piano + accordion player Árni Guðjónsson bassist Kristján Páll Kristjánsson and drummer Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson.
In September 2011 the group released their debut album My Head Is An Animal in their native Iceland reaching the the top of the national sales chart. The disc which drops worldwide in early 2012 includes the American Alternative top 40 single Little Talks.
