Norah O’Donnell is an American television journalist and anchor. She has been the anchor and managing editor of the "CBS Evening News" since 2019, the third woman to hold this role, following Connie Chung and Katie Couric. O'Donnell also serves as a correspondent for “60 Minutes” and contributes to “CBS News Sunday Morning”.
A graduate of Georgetown University with degrees in philosophy and a master’s in liberal studies, she began her career at "Roll Call" covering Congress. She joined NBC News in 1999, serving as a White House correspondent and co-anchor of “Weekend Today”. At CBS since 2011, she co-anchored “CBS This Morning” (2012–2019).
