Noah Feldman is an American novelist and Harvard Law School lecturer. Feldman attended the Maimonides School in Boston, Massachusetts, where he grew up. He obtained a Rhodes Scholarship at the University of Oxford, where he earned a D.Phil in Islamic Thought in 1994 after graduating from Harvard College in 1992. He got his J.D.
from Yale Law School in 1997 after returning from Oxford, where he was the book review editor of the Yale Law Journal. Later, he worked as a legal clerk for the United States Supreme Court Associate Justice David Souter. He joined the faculty of New York University Law School (NYU) in 2001 and left for Harvard Law School in 2007.
