NICOLA FORMICHETTI, the former creative director of the Mugler Fashion Brand, was named the first artistic director of the Diesel Brand in April 2013. Nicola was born to Japanese and Italian parents and reared in Rome and Tokyo, where he created a distinct and diverse style that catapulted him into the upper echelon of burgeoning global fashion.
Nicola has worked with Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander, and served as the former fashion director of Vogue Hommes Japan as well as a contributing editor for V Magazine and VMAN in the United States.
