Nick is the Chairman of the Peter Cullum Centre for Entrepreneurship at Cass. After early practice as a corporate lawyer with Clifford Chance, Nick decided to “do the deals rather than the documents”, and joined 3i – the leading venture capital and private equity group. Nick held numerous roles with 3i – latterly becoming a senior partner in 3i’s pan-European buyout business and Head of UK buyouts – 3i’s largest business unit controlling major stakes in businesses such as Travelex, HSS, ERM, NPC and Hobbs.
Nick combines his role at Cass with practice as a Chairman, Director, investor and advisor to growth businesses; with a particular focus on the service sectors. Until joining Cass Nick was a governor of Kingston University and non executive Chairman of its enterprise activities.
